Cabins

Reservation Cancellations, Insufficient Funds, Credit Card Charges, and
Security Deposit Fees, etc.

1) Cancellation Policy: Reservations cancelled 15 or more days prior to the scheduled arrival date will receive a refund minus the $20.00 cancellation fee. Reservations cancelled 14 days or fewer prior to the scheduled arrival date will receive a refund minus the $55.00 cancellation fee. Guests who are unable to make their scheduled reservations should contact the office in advance. Failure to arrive and provide 48-hour notice will result in the reservation being considered a no-show, and all payments will be forfeited, No exceptions. Please note that the 3.5% service charge assessed at the time of booking is non-refundable.

2)When checks are returned to either Brierfield State Historical Park and/or Tannehill
Ironworks Historical State Park, pursuant to 13A-9-13.2 Alabama Code, 1975.1 with
insufficient funds a collection fee of $30.00 will be added to the amount of the check. A
certified letter will be mailed with collection fees stated. If the check is not paid within
14 days of receiving the certified letter, it will be taken to the proper authorities for
collection.

3)A fee may be assessed on all credit card charges at either Brierfield or Tannehill Parks.
Debit card charges incur no fees.

4)A refundable security deposit ranging from $25.00 to $300.00 or equal to 50% of one day
rental may be required to rent certain facilities in either Brierfield or Tannehill Park.

5)All Park reservations may be subject to a $10.00 “Booking Fee”.

6)A “cleaning fee” per cabin or rental of building facilities may be assessed between
$25.00 and $75.00 to be disclosed at time of booking.
